Local (in area) Enrolments

Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these key steps:

1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.

2. Get your documents ready:

   • confirmation of your home address i.e. the latest rates notice, electricity bill, lease agreement etc
   • child's birth certificate
   • child's Australian passport or residency determining document (if both parents were born overseas)
   • child's immunisation record from Medicare or original blue book
   • any current medical documentation for your child i.e. allergy, ASCIA or asthma plan, occupational therapy reports etc
   • reports, transcripts or plans from another school or professional third party
   • custody documents for any separated families

3. Select your child's scripture class: All students participate in scripture lessons once a week. Families can choose from non-scripture, ethics, catholic, protestant or Greek orthodox via this online form.

4. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application

Non-Local (Out-of-Area) Enrolment

Drummoyne Public School accepts non-local enrolments on a case-by-case basis.

Enrolment applications are assessed by an enrolment panel consisting of members of the school executive team and a parent representative. Applications are assessed based on the following criteria:

• siblings already enrolled at the school
• proximity and access to the school
• medical reasons
• safety and supervision of the student before and after school
• compassionate circumstances
• pre-existing relationships
• structure and organisation of the school

To submit a non-local enrolment application, please complete an online enrolment application. Please note that out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.

School contributions

In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.
