Bell Times
Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.
It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.
Our Bell Times
Playground supervision operates from 8:50am each morning. Parents do not have to wait until the bell to say goodbye to their child. We encourage students to arrive in the mornings with some time to play with a friend and say goodbye while they are happy.
If you need to drop your child off before 8.50am you may want to explore one of our before school extra-curricular activities or Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
Children are not to be on any play equipment before or after school. Morning play is restricted to the North and South playgrounds only.
Classes commence at 9:20am each day. A few minutes before this, music will begin to play and all students assemble at designated areas for each class to be collected by their class teacher. If your child is late they will need to go to the school office to sign in.
Lunch is from 11:20am to 12:15pm. The students stay with the class teachers for the first ten minutes to eat lunch and are then able to play. Three play areas are supervised by teaching staff.
Recess takes place from 2:15pm to 2:35pm. Two teachers are on duty at this time - one in each playground (north and south).
School finishes at 3:20pm for the whole school. There is no after school supervision, except for students catching school buses. Parents are advised to be on site at 3:20pm promptly to avoid causing anxiety for their child. If your child is not collected from the class pick-up spot by 3.25pm, they will be taken to the school office. There is no playing in the school grounds after school, the playspaces are often booked by our OSHC or Co-curricular providers.
